Aam Aadmi Party leader and chief minister of Delhi Arvind Kejriwal alleged PM Modi’s role in arresting two AAP MLAs and said that the arrest shows the frustration of Prime Minister Narendra Modi. He said, “Modi is sending Delhiites to jail under false charges.” He added that why PM Modi is diverting all the police force against his political opponents instead of protecting women. Till now eleven AAP MLAs have been arrested by police under different charges.
Earlier, party’s Okhla MLA Amanatullah Khan has been arrested by the police allegedly for trying to run over a woman with his car. Another party MLA from Mehrauli Naresh Yadav had also been arrested by the Punjab police allegedly for his role in sacrilege case in Malerkota.
