Two hedgehogs were found in an intimate moment in a man’s house in Buchenbach, Nuremberg in Germany.

The two animals were making the love passionately that the home owner had to call police to report the mysterious ‘loud-panting’ noise.

Police, while investigating searched down the entire building for the source of the sound. They were surprised when they found two animals in a mating position. Reports said, the sexual encounter was going for about 20 minutes when the couple were interrupted.

Experts said that the hedgehogs carry a pretty impressive sexual stamina. An expert from the veterinary department of Ludwig-Maximilian University of Munich reported that the act normally lasts several hours.

Another expert said, “Hedgehogs groan loudly during the act and the male makes most of the noise.”

The animals were fled as soon as their act was interrupted by the police.
