Pakistan’s famous blue-eyed chaiwalla, Arshad Khan got huge popularity overnight for his looks when his images went viral on the internet.

According to the reports, Arshad Khan, due to tremendous popularity has got the modeling contract by online clothing and fashion brand Fitin.pk.

The company announced the news and shared images with Arshad Khan on their official Facebook page.

It wrote, “Chai wala is not more chai wala now he is fashion wala!

The 18-year-old Arshad Khan was first spotted by the Islamabad-based photographer Jiah Ali during a photo walk around the Peshawar’s Sunday Bazaar. She clicked pictures with him and shared one on her Instagram, which went hugely viral within four or five days.

Ms Ali, while speaking to a media house said, “I didn’t expect (Such a fuss) at all. It’s very surprising.”

Arshad’s popularity went such a high that on Twitter on Monday he was trending on top.

Ms. Ali then shared more photos of him and met him again,

“Hi guys, so yes I finally managed to meet Arshad Khan today.
Yes he knows about his overnight fame and hes very happy about it!
Arshad is from Mardan, hes 18 years old, his family has been living in Islamabad since 25 years, previously he was a fruit seller at the same sunday market but since 3 months he started working at the tea stall. He would love to accept modelling/acting offers, He found out today about his fame (hes a very shy guy), Message for his fans: Shukria aap sab ka.
People have been asking his reaction, hes very confused right now as hes suddenly overwhelmed with all the attention, hes confused scared and happy all at the same time.
P.s: He doesn't mind being called ''chai wala'', and yes he is getting a lot of offers!”
