No Invitation To BJP In Shiv Sena’s 50th Anniversary Celebration

Showing a rift between the two political groups, the Bharatiya Janata Party has not been invited to the Shiv Sena’s 50th Anniversary celebration program which is on Sunday. Both the saffron parties are in alienated government in the state. However, their relationship in 2017 Mumbai Municipal Corpoation polls are sill questionable.

Industries minister and a Shiv Sena leader Subhash Desai said, “We have not invited BJP to the event. In fact, we have not invited any other party. It is an internal matter.”

Shiv Sainiks or Shiv Sena members will meet at NSE grounds in Goregaon, Mumbai at the program to be addressed by party chief Uddhav Thackeray.

In Response, BJP Mumbai chief Ashish Shelar said, “We wish them well. There is no compulsion. It is their choice.”

Earlier, Uddhav Thackeray was not invited to the profile inaugural event of the Make In India week in the city which was also attended by PM Modi. Although the Sena supporters showed their unhappiness publicly, the invitation was not given to the party chief.

It seems that the gap has been widening between both the parties and it’s looking to create a lot of impact on forthcoming Mumbai Municipal Elections.
