Joining the biopic race, Bollywood actor Salman Khan also producing a biopic of Somen Banerjee, the owner of popular male striptease night club, Hotspot Chippendales.

Somen, who was born in a Bengali family and whose father worked as a printer, went on to become an entrepreneur and the film will portray his story and the shooting will be done in US and Europe. Additionally, Somen was accused of couple of murders and attempted murders. Reports said that he lived a dual life, of an entrepreneur and one for his family.

The CEO of Salman Khan Production, Amar Butala, confirmed that although they are making a feature film, they are also thinking to start a mini-series on the character keeping in mind the intriguing nature of his life.

He further added that his life had all elements and shades of a gangster film including greed, power and violence.
