A seagull in wales fell into a curry vat of Chicken Tikka Masala at a food factory in Wales on Monday. The seagull was trying to scavenge a piece of meat.
The bird was rescued by staff and cleaned by a volunteer for Vale Wildlife Hospital near Tewekesbury in Gloucestershire. Although he managed to wash all the curry from its feathers and to remove organge pigment from its body, he could not wash away the smell of curry.
“We had never said anything like it before, The thing that shocked us more was the smell. He smelled amazing, he really smelled good,” said Lucy Kells, a veterinary nurse.
Mrs. Kells added, “I think he has been put off spicy food but otherwise he seems to be doing really well.”
The bird will be homed in at the center until he is well enough to be released. The bird was nicknamed as Gullfrazie on social networks such as Facebook after the news came.
