Local-smartphone maker, Micromax, extending its Canvas series of mobile phones in the country, launched its new phone Unite 4 Plus on Friday at Rs. 7,999.
Powered by the Indus operating system 2.0, the phone is packed with few important features such as Indus Swipe, Hybrid Keyboard, Text-to-Speech, and App Bazaar, Indus’s regional language app store.
The company is reportedly concentrating on the 100 million people in the country who have not used the smartphone but willing to turn to the using of smartphones over the next three years. Reports said most of the people who are willing to use a smartphone are not comfortable to use as they are in English.
