Coolpad Max Launched In India

Coolpad announced its flagship phone Coolpad Max in India. The phone was recently launched in Indonesia and currently available in the Indian markets ar Rs. 24,999.

“We plan to invest larger on global market and targeting 100 per cent annual growth,” said Bin, CEO, Coolpad Group while claiming that 2016 will be crucial year for the company to become the global brand.

“Company will announce two disruptive smartphones before Diwali as part of ‘Make in India’ initiative,” he further added.

The coolpad max which runs on android 5.1 will be available via offline retail stores this year. It has Lollipop based cool UI and supports 4G LTE connectivity.  

Coolpad offers a major feature of providing separate space for professional and personal data with data encryption by default and dual isolation technology.

With a rear fingerprint scanner it has an option to have two accounts for social media apps and various messaging apps. This feature was added in windows phones as Kids Corner but added with few extra tweaks in Coolpad Max.

Coolpad Max comes with 4GB RAM and has Qualcomm Snapdragon 617 processor under the hood. Coolpad Max features a 5.5-inch FHD display protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 4. The phone has 2800 mAh battery which is non-removable.

On the camera front, Coolpad Max features a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.0 lens. Coolpad is using ISOCELL image sensor, similar to the one we saw on Lava V5 smartphone. The smartphone has a 5 MP front camera. Coolpad Max features metal unibody design with the back panel looking very similar to HTC One A9. It has 64 GB storage space.

The available colors for the phone are Rose Gold and Gold and the smartphone will be available on Amazon from May 30 as exclusive and will compete with Xiaomi’s Mi5 and OnePlus 2.
