Shrikhand is a popular Gujarati dessert. It can be prepared in different flavours by using yogurt mix. Almond and Pistachio Shrikhand is a delicious creamy dessert prepared with hung curd, saffron infused milk cooked and garnished with dry fruits. Follow this simple method of preparation and enjoy this sweet at your home.
Cooking time: 30 minutes
Ingredients:
1/2 liter milk
Saffron, a pinchÂ
500 gms hung curd
1 1/2 tsp castor sugar
25 grams pistachio, smashed
25 grams almonds, smashed
Method of preparation:
In a pan, infuse saffron and milk. Boil them.
In a bowl, Add hung curd, caster sugar and add half the infused milk.
Mix them well.
Now add the remaining infused milk and mix them well.
Add chopped pistachio and almond. Fold them together.
Set them in a bowl and garnish it with chopped pistachio and almonds.
Keep it in the fridge for 4 -5Â hrs.
Serve cold and enjoy its delicious taste.
