A woman set herself on fire on Sunday at Tijala and committed suicide, according to the reports under pressure form her husband as well as in-laws. Her husband SK Gulzar has been arrested after the complaint lodged Topsia Police Station.

According to reports, the woman, Farha Begum under tremendous pressure and torture from in-laws committed suicide as she was unable to take more. Reports said that Gulzar and Farha had been married since last six years. However, since the last couple of years they were fighting constantly. When they started to fight again on Sunday night Farha pored kerosene on herself. Farha’s family has claimed that there was no effort had been made from her husband to save Farha from burning.

She was then taken to the National Medical College and soon declared as dead. The police arrested Farha’s husband Gulzar for further questioning and have started to investigate the case.
