The women has alleged that she was kidnapped and gang-raped by at least four men in a moving car all the night on Sunday at Salt Lake, the upmarket township in the city.

The woman aged around 20, has stated that she came to Sector 5 in Salt Lake, which has consisted several IT offices, at around 11.30 pm last night to get something to eat. When she got to the area she was a bit lost and asked a man who was speaking on mobile phone for the directions. After some period, a card stopped at front of her and four men including the man who gave her directions, dragged her inside.

She further told the police that they then drove around and raper her till the morning. She was then thrown out of the vehicle near a bus stop. A taxi driver found her in the morning and took her to the local police station.

Police said that the case of gang-raped has been filed. Police have added that they some leads on the vehicle and the men involved and they hope to make arrest soon.

The victim has been send for a medical examination and is still in hospital currently.
