Narendra Modi's election rally gains huge crowd

Event though Indian opposition leader Narendra Modi's election rally on Friday was held in a field outside a remote town not far from the border accompanying Nepal. Nevertheless they were found to have come on foot, holding tight on the back of tractors, stuffed inside dilapidated buses. During the conclusion nearly 50,000 people gathered in front of a stage decorated with the orange colours of Mr Modi's Hindu nationalist Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP). They were all present there to hear the 63-year old high-flown speech the government at the same time motivate them to dream of a better future.

There was a feeling of wonder for Mr Modi bordered on a personality cult in Bahraich which happens to be a small town surrounded by fertile fields in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It's known as the home to 200 million people and a crucial battleground for anyone wanting to control parliament.
