Singer-musician Remo Fernandes and social activist Oscar Rebello have joined Aam Aadmi Party on Sunday as party workers. Both have stated that they will not contest in coming elections but would be contributing to the party in every possible way. Singer Remo confirmed this update in his official Facebook page, “Yesterday was a historic day for me: for the very first time in my life, I joined a political party.”

While the former Goa Bachao Abhiyan member Oscar said, “I have just joined (AAP) as a party worker, as I believe in its policies and I will help in every way possible to further the party's objectives. In no way am I considering contesting elections.”

Remo also encouraged his fans to join AAP and participate in all the activities that will be taken by the party.
