Subhash Velingkar Launched New Political Front To Contest Assembly Polls

Subhash Velingkar of the Bharatiya Bhasha Suraksha Manch (BBSM), who was fired from the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh earlier, has launched a new political party, Goa Suraksha Manch, to contest Goa Assembly Polls coming next year.

According to reports, Anand Shirodkar has been appointed as the President of Goa Suraksha Manch and the party is likely to contest election on 35 constituency polls. The party has also announced the state committee, district committees, youth wing and women’s cell.

Adding that the party has closed not doors for any other political party to make the alliance, Velingkar said that the unconditional support will not be extended.

He said, “As we have formed the political party, we will have to discuss seat sharing before finalizing alliances with other parties.”

Subhash velingkar was ‘relieved’ from the RSS after he announced agitation against the BJP in the state for not fulfilling the demands to stop grants to English medium schools in support of Marathi and Konkani language.
