Jamaican cricket star Chris Gayle has declared himself "Universe Boss" after striking a Twenty20 World Cup century.

West Indian master blaster Gayle hit an massive100 off just 48 balls together with his innings studded with 11 sixes and 5 fours to steer his team to triumph against England on Thursday (NZ time).

After the match Gayle said he was determined to live up to his mark as an entertainer and felt he had achieved that in Mumbai.

"The world is watching, so the universe boss got to deliver and he did today," the 36-year-old left-hander aforesaid. "The Gayle force got the better of England today."

Gayle disclosed he  was impressed by the words of West Indies team-mate; Sulieman Benn.
"Sulieman said to me I had to go out and entertain him, that gave me the spark. I just try and keep people entertained around the world. that's my objective."

Before  the match, Gayle had been partying with Bollywood actress Sneha Ullal, who tweeted her approval, stating "aggressive as ever".

Earlier within the week Ullal was partying at a Mumbai club with Gayle and fellow West Indian star Darren Bravo who was launching his latest song.

She mentioned Gayle was "such a cool person" after they "danced and chatted".

The Oman-born Ullal was raised in Hyderabad and Mumbai.

She made her film debut in 2005 and has been in nineteen films.

Ullal's partying with the Windies stars stirred the social pages with Gayle a colossus within the cricket-mad country.

Gayle's latest batting heroics saw him blast his wat past Brendon ;McCullum's world record of ninety one T20 sixes.
