Kabir Khan To Direct Film On India’s Famous Win In 1983 World Cup

According to the reports, the Phantom Productions has met with India’s team of 1983 Cricket World Cup and had decided to take up rights for the same to portray the story on 70mm screens.

The latest reports on this issue says that Bajrangi Bhaijaan director Kabir Khan will be directing the movie.

Reports said that Kabir Khan will start shooting the film once his is finished with Tubelight with Salman Khan and Sohail Khan. Reports added that renowned cricketers of the same team such as Kapil Dev, Mohinder Amarnath, Sunil Gavaskar, Kirti Azad, Syed Kirmani, K Srikanth, Balwinder Sandhu and Yashpal Sharma will be act as mentors for the film.

The film will shot at various locations to make it more realistic, reports said. Although the casting of film is yet to finalized, it’s confirmed that the film will go on floor later this year.
