Kangana Ranaut Met With An Accident In US; Miraculously Escaped Without Severe Injuries

Bollywood actress Kangna Ranaut, who currently is in United States shooting for filmmaker Hansal Mehta’s upcoming film Simran, met with an accident but escaped unhurt, reports said.

The incident took place when Kangna with his team was on the way back from outside Georgia to their hotel in Atlanta, the state’s capital.

An insider has been quoted by a leading daily as saying, “A local driver was behind the wheel and was driving in the leftmost lane (meant for fast-moving traffic) on highway 381. Suddenly, he started coughing profusely and then blacked out while on the move.”

Kangna’s bodyguard who was sitting next to the driver, tried to control the car by managing the steering wheel, after the driver backed out. However, he failed to control it and the vehicle, which swerved to the right and cut to three of the highway’s lanes sharply, before banging into the iron fence.

The insider added, “Everyone was scared at that point. But luckily, none of them got hurt. Kangana had a few minor scratches on her elbows and her forehead that bled a little, but nothing major happened. Similarly, Kangana’s team members also suffered a few minor injuries.”

Within minutes the local police reached the spot and later the film’s makers ensured that the others went to the hospital to check whether there are any internal injuries.

A source has been quoted, “The entire unit is stationed there. So, she didn’t want to stall the shoot due to the accident, despite the fact that the makers were ready to take a break”. Film’s producer Shailesh R Singh says, “It was a narrow escape. It’s a miracle that they had no injuries. Kangana is a brave girl. She refused to take a break and has resumed the shoot.”
