Third National-Level Joint Disaster Management Exercise To Start From September 15

According to the senior Navy official, third national-level joint disaster management exercise will be held in Gujarat’s Bhuj from September 15.

The second such operation is currently ongoing at Visakhapatnam, which is titled as ‘Prakampana’. The operation, which is going to conclude on today (Sept. 1), has around 250 delegates which are participating in the exercise.

Vice-admiral HCS Bisht, Flaf Officer Commanding-in-chief, Easter Naval Command, while speaking with reporters said, “The three-day national level disaster management exercise will be held at Bhuj in Gujarat from September 15.”

Earlier, the inaugural exercise was conducted by Indian Army in Guwahati, Assam. The second operation is being conducted by Navy and the third one will be organized by the Indian Air Force, according to the press release by the Defense ministry.
