A Terrorist Killed In Jammu And Kashmir’s Shopian; 2 Soldiers Injured

In an exchange of fire occurred at Jammu And Kashmir’s Shopian, a terrorists has been killed by the security forces, according to the reports. Reports added that two soldiers have also been injured in firing.

Police said that the exchange of fire started at Jammu And Kashmir’s Wangam village in Shopian district.

Earlier the Army had reported that two Indian soldiers had been killed in the ceasefire violation by the Pakistani forces, which was occurred two facilitate two infiltration bids along the Line of Control in Krishna Ghati and Poonch sectors of the Poonch district.

Reports said that since last two weeks, eight Indian soldiers as well as eight civilians have been killed in continuous firing by Pakistan across the International Border and the Line of Control.

According to the Indian Army, the Indian soldiers responded to the Pakistani firing in a befitting manner and has killed dozens of Pakistani soldiers.

Previously, Union Home Minister Rajnath Singh, had warned the neighboring country by saying, “Look us in the eyes and fight us. We will emerge victorious.”

The ceasefire violations by the Pakistani forces have increases since the Special Forces of the Indian Army carried out surgical strikes on the terrorists launch pads in Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) across the Line of Control (LoC).
