Prostate Cancer Risk can be reduced by sleeping with many women

A study has made it clear that men who have sex with more than 20 women is associated with a 28% lower risk of being diagnosed with prostate cancer.

The study also revealed that men who have slept with about 20 women can reduce their chances of getting the most aggressive tumours by 19%.

In "Prostate cancer risk reduced by sleeping with many women, but increased with many men", a report published in the University of Montreal website.

The University and INRS - Institut Armand-Frappier conducted research over 3,208 men over a period of four years between 2005 and 2009 and stated that men how never had sexual intercourse are found to be twice more susceptible to prostate cancer than men who are sexually experienced.

"It is possible that having many female sexual partners results in a higher frequency of ejaculations, whose protective effect against prostate cancer has been previously observed in cohort studies," the lead researcher of the study, Dr Parent explained.

Though the study sounds good for men but many men will be disappointed to hear that Dr. Parent was unwilling to recommend men should be told to sleep with more women, insisting we were “not there yet.”
