The shooting has been reported in a nightclub in Florida, United States in the wee hours of Monday which has killed 1 people and wounded 17. The reports said that the shooting occurred at Club Blu in Fort Myers.

Initial reports has said that around 30 gunshots were heard by the witnesses on the scene and two gunmen are believed to have been involved.

Till the police arrived, the injured persons were lying at the parking lot with minor to life-threatening injuries, reports said.

A ‘person of interest’ has been detained by the police whereas the other is still on the run, reports added.

Earlier, in June, a man had killed 49 people in shooting at a gay club in Orlando . Reports said that the the attacker had called 911 in the middle of the attacks and had pledged an alliance to Islamic State.

While it has not been reported that ISIS is involved in this incident, gunfight, shooting have been creating quite a headache for authorities in the United States. President Barack Obama had earlier spoke on reformation in the weapon policy in the country and had called for support from all the parties as well people of United States.

People on Twitter are demanding for a gun control policy by the government after the shooting had been reported.
