Shankaracharya's anti-Sai Baba statement faces criticism

Devotees of Sai Baba in Varanasi expressed objection against Dwarakapeeth Shankaracharya Swami Swaroopanand. That was due to the reason of ignited controversy caused him with his anti-Sai Baba statement.

The statement mentioned not to pray Sai Baba as he was a human being and not to be considered as a God. Shankaracharya said that that worshipping Sai Baba was a secret plan intending to divide the Hindus. He added that people are making money in his name.

Additionally known that the furious crown also burnt the effigy of Shankaracharya at the same time undergone loud outburst of slogans against him. People in opposition expressed that the statement is certainly offending good taste. They would continue with their declaration of objection till  Shankaracharya takes his words back.

At the same time,  Shankaracharya expressed rejection to move away from his statement rather said that his followers will teach lesson to those protesting against him.

The incident makes it absolutely prominent that the god-man in our country are nothing more than a another strong medium of spreading corruption and menace in the society. The statement uttered by Shankaracharya regarding Sai Baba would not only spread chaos among people, especially  Hindus and Muslims but also bring extreme rage among the believers of Sai Baba. He may have his own perceptive but that doesn’t mean that he make it as a psychological game to exploit people otherwise believers. In fact, the reality here is that he himself is imposing a religious war among devotees.
