Although India is knows as a spiritual country, India also carries a lot of its heritage from the dynasties and kings who ruled here. These kings left their marvelous properties, their palaces and forts and their royal belongings behind, even after they disappeared in the race of time.
Here are few marvelous palaces in India which gives a special identity to the region these kings ruled and provides nice historical heritage to India.
1.Mysore Palace
The palace, which was the residence of the royal family of Mysore, the Woodeyars, also famous with a different name, ‘Amba Vilas Palace’. The ground of this palace are home to Mysore’s golf course. The palace is well-maintained and gives an experience of seeing something grand.
2.Jaisalmer Palace
Jaisalmer Palace, the Rajmahal, was built around 1500 and still is well-kept and grounds and the sections are fully renovated.
3.Laxmi Vilas Palace, Vadodara
This magnificent piece of architecture was build in 1890 by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III. This palace is knows as the largest private dwelling constructed till date.
4.Jag Mandir Palace, Udaipur
Jag Mandir Palace is situated on an island in the Lake Pichola in Udaipur and also known as the Lake Garden Palace. This palace was created for Sisodia Rajput dynasty of Mewar.
5.City Palace, Jaipur
Chandra Mahal and Mubarak Mahal Palaces are among the other historical structures within the grounds of City Palace in pink city, Jaipur.
