Tamil Nadu’s beautiful hill station, Kodaikanal is located at the altitude of 7,200 ft in the Palani hills in the Western Ghats. It consists of cascading hill slopes, rivers and green rolling valleys.

It also has many excursions where you can enjoy, although the place is hugely famous for its picturesque hills.

1.Subrahmanya Temple

The temple is also known as Karthikeya temple and the Palani temple and this place attracts huge number of tourists as well. Dedicated to Lord Subramanian, it is located about 65 km ahead of Kodaikanal.

2.Bryant Park

The park, which is named, conceptualized and landscaped after the British officer Glenn Bryant back in 1980, is a botanical garden located at the east of the Kodaikanal lake.

3.Berijam Lake

Berijam lake provides a visit for its spectacular surroundings and untouched beauty, although its located 20 km upward from Kodaikanal.

4.Pillar Rocks
Pillar-Rocks.

The three pillars of the Kodaikanal’s most famous attractions, looming at 400 ft-high in the sky. This place offers a bird’s eye view of the surrounding places, as well.

5.Kukkal caves
/Kukkal-caves

Located at the distance of 40 km from the city, this is one of the most interesting excursions of Kodaikanal.
