While it is fun to go abroad and enjoy, it must be planned. Going for an international trip is not just limited to book a ticket and enjoy in a completely different country or atmosphere. It does have other issue too. International travel does require extra steps which you should always take care of.

1.Keep all the required documents ready.
It is highly important to keep your passport and other required documents ready before reaching the destination country. You should have a passport which will be valid till six months after reaching the other country. Few countries can let you enter with less period. Apart from passports, it is also necessary to apply and have suitable visas for the country you are going to visit, although many countries nowadays provide visas on arrival.

2.Medical checkup, vaccination
It is important to get checked by the practicing expert physician before going abroad and to have proper vaccination as well. Many countries, nowadays required proper medical certification before giving you permission to enter in their territory. Apart from that it is also necessary to take all medications with you, if you are on any prescribed medicine for your health related problems.

3.Manage finances
Managing money and finances is also an important thing before visiting a new country. Find out and always remember the exchange rates in the country you are going to visit. Also, if needed inform your bank about your international visit as they can freeze your card if they find any suspicious foreign exchange.

4.Learn local language a bit
It is important that you should know how to converse in local language a bit as it is necessary for your own security reasons. Try learning key phrases of the local language of the country which you are going to visit.

5.Research for any extra fees and charges
Many countries does have entry and exit fees as well as few additional charges for a tourist. It will be highly recommended to research about these fees and extra charges, so that you will not be facing any sudden problems.
