Famous former world no. 1 Indian shuttler, Saina Nehwal has shocked the nation by speaking about her retirement from the game. According to the reports, Saina Nehwal, who missed recent Rio Olympics, is planning to retire soon.
During an interview to a sports channel, speaking on her retirement Saina said, “It is okay, many people will think my career will end and I won't come back. I also think somewhere deep in my heart that maybe it is the end of my career, so let's see how it is." Doesn't this statement kind of hint what she's running through - a retirement soon?”
“Going forward, I will plan year-on-year and currently, I am just aiming at one year,” she further added.
After her knee injury and her absence from Rio Olympic the Indian sports star will be making the comeback in China Open Super Series from 15th November. Reports said that she trying hard for the upcoming series and does not want to loose focus on from it.
