Latest ICC T20I Rankings Announced; Kohli Retains Top Spot, Ashwin Moves To 4th

India’s star batsman Virat Kohli has retained the top position with 820 points in the batsmen’s ranking in T20I in the latest ICC T20I rankings. Rohit Sharma also reached the 17th place after the knocks of 62 and 10 not out against West Indies in recently finished series at Lauderhill.

West Indian aggressive opener, Evin Lewis, who scored a mindblowing ton in 49 deliveries, jumped to 51st rank after jumping massive 288 slots. Other Indian batsmen KL Rahul too crossed the 67 slots to reach the 31st rank after scoring unbeaten 110 in the first match against West Indies in a recently finished series.

In the bowler’s ranking, Ravichandran Ashwin moved to fourth place, after enjoying at career best second in February and March this year. Bhuvneshwar Kumar Mohammad Shami also moved up to 67th and 82nd spot respectively. Leg spinner Amit Sharma re-entered the ranking at 104th place.

At the team’s rankings, West Indies, which was six place behind India before the Lauderhill series is now just one point behind. India remains at second with 126 points whereas West Indies at third with 125 points. New Zealand remains on top with 132 points.
