Women get disgusted with out-of-context porn

A new research has brought into prominence that women experience physical disgust which produces nausea when exposed to graphic pornographic images not accompanying any context.

Additionally, the Independent reported that a research conducted at Groningen University in the Netherlands has discovered that women's physiological response to explicit images of sexual penetration was similar to what they feel when confronted with revolting food.

According to the research, there is a strong overlap in the areas of the women's brain that became active in response to viewing the nausea-inducing pictures, and those showing the pornographic scenes. The research has shown that a woman's body instantaneously goes on the defensive when seeing porn out of context, which is a response that could be explained by the relative susceptibility to infection that women face in comparison to men.
