Katy Perry has been honoured with the woman of the year title at the 2014 Elle Style Awards. 29 year old Perry was known to have been presented with the award in London. Femalefirst.co.uk reported that it was in recognition to her earnest attempt to empower women across the globe at the same time here immense success in the music industry by singer Kylie Minogue at a ceremony held in London during Tuesday night.
On the other hand, "Thor" star Tom Hiddleston was named the magazine's man of the year. Other big winners were singer Lily Allen and rapper Tinie Tempah, who were named the female and male British recording artists of the year.
