Historic Oxford welcomes Mallika Sherawat

Bollywood heartthrob Mallika Sherawat who hails from a small town have undoubtedly made it big into Bollywood not accompanying any godfather. The graceful Mallika has been vocal about her father's feeling of anxiety against her for joining Bollywood and disarranged few feathers when she called India a regressive and depressing country for women during one of her interviews at Cannes preceding year.

At the same time it seems her words have resounded not just in India yet in the West as well, as Mallika has been invited for a debate at Oxford University.

While getting into details, Mallika will participate in the debate 'This House Believes Gender Exists to Oppress' at the Oxford Union. Regarded as one of the most prestigious debating societies in the world, Mallika will speak along side 'Blurred Lines' model Jessi M'Bengue on gender issues.  The actress known to have expressed as she tweeted, "Getting ready for a debate at The historic Oxford Union where presidents like Carter, Nixon and Reagan have debated!"  Mallika at the moment is working on the film 'Dirty Politics'. She's in the US and is busy preparing for the big debate to be held during February 27.

Undoubtedly there's should be an expectation from Mallika that she would be able to give much more to the audience to take back home from the debate session at the same time would be able to cope up well with the accent. Even though another prominent fact remains that she has already made India proud with her success!

All the very best Mallika!
