As the popularity of the famous series Game of Thrones increased widely, the fashion of the casts was also in a buzz. Jon Snow’s highly popular attire in the series is making lot of noise these days and fans across the global media are now emulating his iconic hairstyle man perm or merm.
Many models as well as people have now started to keep the hairstyle and has been requesting to their hairstylists for the same. The look was portrayed by an actor Kit Harrington in the series.
Although the look has similarities with women’s hairstyles in 80s, unlike the tightly wound perms worn by women in those days men are opting for more tousled and soft waves. This look can get by using very large perm rods, which give looser curls. Many men are opting for techniques like digital perming, making the waves of the hair appear subtler and curls more pronounced when wet.
How to take care of your merm
-Remember that once you get the curl wait for 2-3 days before washing your hair, the curls need time to set in.
-Opting hair products especially devised for curls will help you and avoid creamy formulas as these weigh down curls.
-Always avoid to dry or straighten your hair with an iron.
-If you want to get your merm colored or any other chemical treatment, wait for at least a month after you get your merm
-After shampooing your hair, avoid drying wet hair with a towel. Using a cotton T-shirt, instead, will be highly recommended.
