In every marriage, parenthood is considered as the sign of happy marriage life. But this stage in a married life, is in danger today as the infertility among the women in the country is growing at the rate if 20-30 percent in the past five years.

The information available about the causes of infertility says that the real threat comes from your everyday habit which you take for granted. However, once affected this can cause you a plethora of problems which can make the matter worse and can sometimes called irreparable damage.

Here are the top five factors which can cause infertility.

1. Obesity- Control your wight
ObesityAccording to the experts, obesity is the invitation for many diseases and infertility is one of them. Being obese, a lot of hormonal imbalances occur in woman’s body making it harder to conceive. Pregnancy and obesity, together can cause harmful results for the mother as well as the inborn child.

2. Stress- Be Calm
StressOne of the serious disadvantages of today’s modern life is, undoubtedly stress. A woman has to impress her higher officials in the office and her laws back at home. The additional stress of cooking, managing deadlines and various other chores does add a pile on already inflated stress. This stress does some strong hormonal changes in woman’s body including disturbance in blood flowing to the uterus which can create difficulties in conceiving. Failing to conceive after the repeated tries can also give a big amount of stress.

3. Exercising beyond the limits- A big NO
ExercisingAlthough exercising is a good quality and you should go ahead with it, taking it beyond the limits definitely can harm you and your pregnancy. Many female athletes consider conceiving a difficult task. A study, shows that exercising beyond one’s limits puts extra stress on your mind resulting into infertility. A study also shows, that the body uses the extra energy you use while exercising in pregnancy and woman’s body don’t have to provide energy for both exercising and pregnancy.

4. Smoking and Alcohol- Quit it.
SmokingSmoking, as we all know, creates serious problems in your body. Smoking results into crating 2000 types of different chemicals which affects the fertility by disabling eggs to fertilize. Smoking should be quit by the men as well as it can affect the sperm count and quality in a man’s body. Smoking while pregnancy, is a big no as it can cause serious injuries to your pregnancy.

Alcohol, at the other hand, too cannot go with the pregnancy. Consuming of this evil product can affect your menstrual cycles, which includes dismenorrhoea and amenorrhoea. It can also affect the fallopian tube’s capacity to transport sperms. Hence, for the couples trying to conceive should stop consuming alcohol and smoking.

5. Age- Be on time
AgeAge range of 20-30 is worldwide considered as the best age for conceiving as the FSH and estrogen hormones are present in normal quantities in this age group and start to decline as woman ages. Fertility in woman starts to decrease after attaining 35 years of age. After the age of 35, risks of baby chromosomal abnormalities also increase.
