5 Simple Ayurveda Tips For Weight Loss

Ayurveda is the stream originated from Yoga and has been rooted and being developed in India since the last 5,000 years. It prominently helps to prevent diseases and strengthen health through simple guidelines with the help of essence of nature and various other ways to cure the illness.

There are many foods filled with chemical products are available in the market for the weight loss technique. But Ayurveda tells you simple, organic ways of weight loss which can naturally guide you towards holistic and healthy weight loss.

Here are 5 simple ways, which will help you in weight loss, according to the Ayurveda.

1.Drinking a warm glass of water with organic lemon in it immediately upon waking up to stimulate the bowels will boost the entire digestive system and will help you to provide fresh start of your day.

2.Ayurveda tells you to have three meals a day for better digestion. Have a medium sized breakfast at the morning then have lunch at the in the afternoon and have dinner at night by 8 pm. Remember, you lunch should be largest meal of the day while your dinner should be the smallest.

3.It is important to walk for at least 10 to 20 minutes after having each meal. Doing a light physical activity after lunch improves the digestion in the body.

4.While having your meal, it is important to add all the six tastes in your meal according to the Ayurveda. The six tastes given in Ayurveda are sweet, sour, salty, pungent, and astringent. Ayurveda says, it’s important to have balance in your meal of all the six tastes. Sweet, sour and salty are anabolic or building in nature whereas pungent, bitter and astringent are catabolic or burning in nature. Too much consumption of only 2-3 tastes is dangerous.

5.With the eating habits, it is also important one has good sleeping habits for weight loss. Ayurveda tell you to arrange or day-cycle according to the schedule of sun which helps in getting you good sleep which results into better digestion as well as better balance of
cartisol, a stress-response hormone that causes weight gain.
