Chidambaram Says Modi Govt. Over-Publicizing Surgical Strikes

Former Home minister P Chidambaram, while speaking to a news channel, said that the Modi Government is over-publicizing the Surgical Strikes conducted by Indian Army on the terrorists’ base across Line of Control.

He said that UPA did surgical strikes too, it is up to the present government to give proofs of the Surgical Strikes.

While answering to the question on current tensions between India and Pakistan, Chidambaram said, “How long can we stay away from dialogue and non-political     ties.”

“No cricket, no films is not a strategy to adopt,” he added.

While almost all the opposition parties are supporting PM Narendra Modi for giving the green signal to the Army to conduct surgical strikes on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK), many are asking for proofs.

Earlier, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal, who is knows for taking stand against the PM on the political issues, saluted PM Modi for his decision to answer militarily to the terrorists.
