The owner of the Kamakshi Forex Pvt. Ltd., Nilesh Raikar has been granted bail by the court after he furnished the bind and surety directed by the court.
He was earlier arrested by the police for cheating investors for Rs. 55 crore. On June 30, court had passed his bail application on condition of furnishing a bail bond of Rs. 5 Lakh and two sureties of around the same amount.
However, the accused had asked for some more time for producing the sureties and hence he was remanded for judicial custody.
On April 22, police’s economic offenses cell had arrested Raikar for allegedly defaulting the money of 500 investors or depositors.
