AAP Leader Ashutosh Criticized PM Narendra Modi On Low Pay Hike

Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is leaving no stones unturned while promoting for the upcoming assembly elections in the state. On Thursday, AAP leader Ashutosh criticized PM Narendra Modi for low pay hike and said that it was the lowest increase in the last 70 years by any central government.  

He said, while AAP convener and Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal met Archbishop Fr Filipe Neri Ferrao on Thursday, “This only exposes PM Narendra Modi's double face. He makes lofty promises but doesn't deliver on his words. He has basically fooled central government employees. If the economy is booming as much as he claims, why are the hikes so low?”

“When we spoke about coming to power in Delhi nobody believed us. Did you see the response in Ponda? The youth’s energy was inspiring. It was an open question and answer session and Kejriwal answered every question posed to him,” he answered to a question asked on whether party really believe to win 35 seats in the assembly.

He alleged and criticized the CM for corruption and criticizing him for corrupt situation in the state he said, “By now the CM should be removed as he’s not only promoting corruption, but also indulging in it full time.”

He also said that Education, Health and Public Transport are in shambles in the state and added, “Sending government school principals to Cambridge for training is a revolutionary move. Fifty-four news schools are being chosen for a pilot project after which the reform in the education system will be extended to 1,000 schools.”

About 200 schools and 8,000 classrooms are being made in the state by the party. The curriculum has also been redefined and principal and teachers are being trained, he said.
