A tragedy incident took place in Malad where a woman gave birth to a baby boy in toilet when she went to relieve herself. The baby boy got stuck in the toilet and he was declared dead after taking to hospital.
The 27 -year-old woman was give due date on October 11 and though the due date was passed away she was going regularly to doctor for check up.
As per senior Inspector Arun Mane of Malad police station, the women on Monday at 3.30 pm went to toilet to relive herself and suddenly she got delivered. It is an Indian-style’ toilet and the baby's head was stuck in the toilet basin pipe.
The woman called her mother-in-law and neighbors for help but they could not free the baby and immediately they called police for help. We have rushed to the spot with an ambulance and fire brigade team.
The police broke the toilet and freed the baby and rushed to hospital but the baby was declared dead and the mother has been admitted to a hospital and she is undergoing treatment.
The police have registered it as an Accidental Death Report as it was not mother’s mistake.
