90-year-old woman was sexually assaulted by 27-year-old man in her sleep and the accuse was a friend of her grandson.

As per Tilak Nagar police, the accused Prabhu Nadar, along with his friends were drinking on October 8 night and he has drink a lot and he his phone and wallet had been robbed.

After drinking Nadar was on his way to home, the old victim had her dinner and gone to sleep and she had mistakenly left her door half closed.

Bhagwat Sonawane a senior inspector said that, “Nadar had consumed a lot of alcohol. He saw that the victim’s door was partly open and entered the house.”

The 90-year-old victim in her complaint said that, in her sleep she sensed someone tying her hands and legs, by the time she woke up the accused has stuffed a cloth in her mouth.

 â€œAfter she was raped, the survivor lost consciousness. When she gained consciousness, she used her mouth to untie herself and informed her son, who stays in the house next to hers. The family then came to our police station and, after registering the case, the 90-year-old was admitted to Sion hospital,” added Sonawane.

The accuse was in a drunken state and he was found lying on the footpath in Amar Nagar on the way to his house. Police have arrested him and he was booked under Sections 376 (rape), 342 (punishment for wrongful confinement) and 452 (house-trespass after preparation for hurt, assault or wrong) of the Indian Penal Code.
