A 33-years-old Navin Dattaram Dhotre have kidnapped a 15-year-old girl and held confined in a municipal school and raped the girl for almost the entire night. The incident took place in Malad in Mumbai, later he locked the minor girl in the municipal school.

The girl’s parents have already filed a missing complaint, in the investigation cops have found that the girl was last seen with Dhotre and cops have questioned him. Dhotre did not say anything to the cops and later he thought of dropping the girl at home and he had threatened the girl with dire consequences if she spoke about the incident.

Dindoshi police said that Dhotre is the resident of Goregaon and the girl who also lives in the same area. He approached the on September 16 and promised her that he would take her somewhere nice, but took her to a Malad municipal school and raped her.

“As soon as they reached the school, the accused forced himself on her. He raped her repeatedly for an entire night. After the rape, the accused threatened the survivor of dire consequences if she revealed the incident to anyone. He then locked the girl inside the school and went away,” said an officer from Dindoshi police station.

“It is a civic school and the authorities claim that they cannot afford security guards unless the corporation appoints one,” the officer added.

Immediately after he was questioned by cops Dhotre dropped the girl at home and after seeing the girl parents were happy and they informed the cops. When police questioned the girl, she told them everything. Dhotre was immediately arrested.
