IAF Chief Arup Raha Says Air Force Is Ready To Take Up Any Challenge

The Indian Air Force is celebrating its 84th anniversary on Saturday at the Hindon Air Base in Uttar Pradesh’s Ghaziabad, near the capital with a scintillating air display.

The chief of the Indian Air Force Arup Raha, on the occasion, said that the Air Force is prepared t deal with any challenge in most befitting manner.

In the message to the citizens of the country, through his official Facebook page, IAF chief said that the force is operating some of the most modern weapon and equipment and the air air warriors exercise ceaseless vigil of skies. His message is titled as, Indian Air Force, Power To Punish.

Arup Raha through his official Facebook page, which has been launched on Saturday on the 84th Air Force day said, “We continue to train to take up any threat and are fully prepared to undertake any challenge in most befitting manner.”

The Air Force day is celebrated to commemorate the day the force was officially established, October 8, 1932.

The Indian Army chief Dalbir Singh and former Cricketer Sachin Tendulkar were also present for the ceremony.

Earlier, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi and President Pranab Mukherjee also greeted the IAF on its 84th anniversary.
