Jawaharlal Nehru University Students’ Union (JNUSU) leader Kanhiya Kumar on Monday slammed Narendra Modi for speaking against Muslims and minorities. He even compared Modi with United States Republican presidential nominee Donald Trump and said that both are using the same language against the Muslims as well as the minorities.

Kanhaiya Kumar, who is also the president of All India Youth Federation (AIYF), speaking at the inaugural function if the three-day National General meeting of AIYF said, “Both are speaking against Muslims. In America, Trump says Muslims and blacks should go back and in India Modi’s leadership is also speaking on the same lines against the Muslims, Dalits and other minorities.”

“Facist spokepersons of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) are propagating anti-Muslim politics.”

On Modi’s comparison of the state of Kerala with Somalia, by slamming Modi, Kanhaiya Kumar said that Kerala being the developed state in education, social and economic sectors and its hospitality attracts people from other states and many parts of the world as well.

“But Modi compared such state to Somalia,” he said.

While speaking on campaign against beef eating, Kumar said, “Without addressing the basic problems faced by youth, RSS and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) are punishing the people in the name of cow and flaring up communal feelings in order to divide the people.”

Kanhaiya Kumar’s views on Narendra Modi have always been aggressive. While it is completely understandable that campaign against beef eating is unlawfu, Kanhaiya Kumar need to think his views on Kerala as well as the root problem behind the problem of Muslims and the minority instead of just speaking against Narendra Modi.
