5. Kanngchenjunga

The Kangchenjunga mountain, located in the state of Sikkim, is the third highest mountain in the world. It is 8,586 meters tall which is limited by Tamur River in the west and in the east by Teesta river. It is location made for trekkers and will definitely boil your adrenalin.

4. Reiek
Reiek is again a mountain and tourist spot in Aizwal of Mozoram. A very clean place, measures 1548 meters high and offers view of the surrounding valley and hills. It’s a spot for adventure travelers. On a clear day one can also see plains of Bangladesh from here. The place is extremely peaceful and a must to visit once in a lifetime.

3. Loktak Lake
A largest freshwater lake in north-east India at Manipur, Loktak lake is famous for its phumidis (Heterogeneous mass of vegetation, soil, and organic matters at various stages of decomposition). The lake acts as a water provider to all of the Manipur state. Human activity has affected the lakes’s ecosystem but it does gives the vibes of calm and peace. In the winter, it’s just irresistible.

2. Dzukou Valley
The beautiful Dzukou valley is situated at the border of Manipur and Nagaland and hugely famous tourist spot for its seasonal flowers which adds to the beauty of this place. Although various flowers are famous in the valley, Dzuko Lily is widely known. There are various NGOs who organize a trek at Dzukou valley.

Majuli is the largest island of Asia is situated in the midst of river Brahmaputra, is the centre of Vishnava culture. You can reach here only by ferries from the City of Jorhat.
