Priced at Rs 10,999, the Le 1s is a dual-SIM phone that supports dual standby and dual 4G connectivity. Le 1s comes with a fingerprint scanner that recognise your fingerprint in 0.15 seconds. Its full metal unibody and a 5.5-inch Full HD display. It is 25 percent brighter than the iPhone 6s. It has MediaTek Helio X10 processor clocked at 2.2GHz, coupled with 3GB RAM and a 32GB onboard storage. Measuring 151.1 x 74.2 x 7.5mm, it weighs 169grams.

LeEco has sold 70,000 units of the Le 1s smartphone in its first flash sale which happened yesterday via online retailer Flipkart within just 2 seconds after the sale opened.

Flipkart Chief Business Officer Ankit Nagori earlier said that the total registrations for the Le 1s “have crossed previous records to touch over 5,50,000 in just 10 days”. A total of 6.05 lakh users has registered to buy the Le 1s in the first sale.

The specifications of the Le 1s includes a 5.5 Inch FHD touchscreen display with a 1920 x 1080 pixel resolution and 403ppi. The device packs a 13 MP rear camera with LED flash along with a 5MP front-facing camera. It is backed by a 3000 mAh battery. The device supports a reversible USB Type-C with fast-charging SpeedVolt technology, which is claimed to deliver 3.5 hours of playback on a charge of mere 5 minutes.

“We have announced another sale for Le 1s on February 9. Those who could not buy it today can buy then. Based on the response in India, we are confident that we will be among top three smartphone players in the country by the end of this calendar year,” Mr Jain said.

Ankit Nagori, chief business officer, Flipkart, said, "This sales figure is a new milestone and sets a benchmark for all other brands in the industry. For a new entrant like LeEco this is really a commendable achievement."

LeEco has also announced 555 service centres that will offer after-sales support for its customers.
