Kabaddi World Cup 2016: India Reached Semi-Final After Beating England 69-18

The in-form Kabaddi team of India, continued their outstanding performance against England on Tuesday as they beat the Englishmen 69-18 to qualify for the semi finals at the TransStadia in Ahmedabad.

Pradeep Narwal and Ajay Thakur played incredibly well with scoring 13 and 11 points respectively in India’s comfortable win against England.

India has suffered a shocking defeat against South Korea in the opening match of the Kabaddi World Cup 2016, although India then bounced back and win all the group matches with huge difference of 174.

On the other hand, England finished fourth with ten points in Group B.

On Tuesday, India dominated the whole match through their performance and gave England no chance to bounce back. Narwal opened India’s account and gave India 5-2 lead over visitors. And Indian players went on to increase their lead with their strong domination over the game as on the 18th minute India were leading 37-5.

At the end of the first half India were leading 45-6 with Pradeep attaining Super 10 and Surjeet getting a High 5.

In Tuesday’s match, India also used its bench strength and brought five substitutes in the second half, including Rahul Chaudhari.

On 28th minute, when India were leading 57-8, England’s star raider Tope Adewalure scored two raid points consecutively to become the first man to score 50 points in the ongoing World Cup.

In the 39th minute, Thakur attained Super 10 to give India a massive win over England by 69-18.
