People suffering from diabetes, high blood pressure, and even some digestive disorders need to keep a close watch on their diet. Here is one of the best heart healthy dish prepared with grilled vegetables and walnut sauce. Prepare this at your home and enjoy its taste.
Ingredients:
For grilled vegetables:
1/2 kg assorted vegetables - broccoli florets, zucchini, and bell peppers (red and yellow)
1 tbsp lemon juice
 Salt and pepper for seasoning
A few drops of olive oil
For the walnut sauce:
100g roasted walnuts
1 tbsp garlic paste
1 tbsp chopped parsley/oregano
1 tbsp olive oil
 2 tsp lemon juice roasted sesame seeds to garnish
Method of preparation:
Cut vegetables into wedges and brush them with lemon juice.
Then add few drops of olive oil and seasoning.
Grill until vegetables are tender.
Garnish with sesame seeds.
To prepare walnut sauce, grind walnuts, garlic and herbs together.
Add the oil and lemon juice to it.
Season well and serve with grilled vegetables.
