Analysis

Bangistan Movie Review

The first half of the movie has some really interesting episodes because of the unique concept the director has chosen. The interest has been maintained throughout the first half and the entertainment plays a key role throughout. On the whole the first half of the movie has been decent all over.

The second half of the movie has been completely deviated and it has been dead slow which spoils the spice of the film. The movie surprisingly dips badly so that the audience get completely irritated. The climax has been dragged too much and it lacks clarity. On the whole the complete second half is the reason for the downfall of the film

Performance

Ritesh Deshmukh who has been riding with back to back successes in his career has been energetic throughout and he has delivered an outstanding performance with the movie. Though some of the episodes resemble some of his previous films, he has been perfect for the character. Pulkit Samrat has been decent with his performance and all the other actors have delivered out their best.

The story of the movie has been quite unique and interesting. However the screenplay and the dialogues have been below the line and they have not taken care. The screenplay is confusing, induced of bad metaphors and extremely boring. The music and the background score has been just ok and the cinematography has been decent. The production values have been grand but the director failed to narrate the movie in an interesting way.

Final Word

Bangistan is a below average film and it can be completely ignored because of the confused second half and poor narration.
