Gujarat Polls: AAP’s President Arvind Kejriwal To Announce Party’s Plans

Aam Aadmi Party president and currently Delhi chief minister, Arvind Kejriwal to announce his party’s plans to contest Gujarat assembly elections at a rally in Surat on October 16, according to the sources.

Before that, on August 9, senior party leaders Sanjay Singh and Ashutosh will hold a public meeting in Surat, party source said.

The party source added that Arvind Kejriwal will announce that party is going to contest the assembly elections, which is going to take place around next year, in a rally on October 16.

According to the reports the party’s presence in Gujarat has increased since last few months and Arvind Kejrwal also visited the state twice in recent weeks to build its support base in the state.

The AAP is looking to mark their presence across the country to pose a challenge for Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP in coming assembly elections of various states and in the general elections of 2019.
