A Parrot Witnessed Murder Of His Owner, Says The Victim’s Parents

A parrot, named as Bud, witnessed the murder of his owner, Martin Duram, according to Martin’s parents and have alleged that Glenna Duram, Martin’s wife has killed their son by a gun.

In 2015, Martin Duram was shot dead in his house at Ensley township in Michigan and his wife Glenna sustained a shotgun wound on his head in the attack, reported a local television news channel Wood-TV.

Even though police initially police suspected an intruder, they are considering Glenna as a suspect after she has recovered from the injuries. However, Glenna has dismissed the allegations when the detectives questioned her.

“I know for a fact I didn’t kill my husband,” she said.

GlennaHowever, her in-laws have alleged now that the she killed Martin ans said that the parrot can prove her guilt.

Lilian and Charles Duram, Martin’s parents, after their son’s murder took a video of Bud repeating what sounds like and argument, complete with changing voices. Charles said that he believes what Bud’s saying is a sign the bird saw the crime. “I personally think he was there and he remembers it and he was saying it,” victim’s father said. At one point parrot says, “Don’t f**** shoot.”

Although the police record show that an unidentified person had asked the detectives whether Bud could be used as evidence, there is no mention that the detective had responded.

A parrot buff Samuel Carr said, “There’s a good chance [Bud] basically had a PTSD breakdown and is repeating the last thing his favorite person said.” He added, “Is it provable though? That’s tough, unless it can be proved his people never used that phrase.”
