A knife attack at Russell Square in Central London at around 10.30 pm on Wednesday, killed a woman and injured 5 people. The police said that they are investigating any possible-terrorist link.

A 19-year-old man has been arrested at Russell Square in the city near British Museum and University of London, after a police officer fired Taser electroshock gun. The accused is in police custody in hospital currently.

In a statement, Police Assistant Commissioner Mark Rowley said, “Early indications suggest that mental health is a significant factor in this case and that is one major line of inquiry but of course at this stage we should keep an open mind regarding motive and consequently terrorism as a motivation remains but one line of inquiry for us to explore.”

Earlier a schizophrenic man was sentenced to to death for beheading a commuter in an ISIS-inspired attack at London Underground station.

If the investigative agencies get any link of ISIS’s involvement into the attack, it would be an another addition into the recent terrorist attacks across Europe facilitated by the Islamic State.

Earlier in Nice, France a truck driver crushed 84 people during the country’s National Day celebration.
