Social reformer Anna Hazare, who had agitated against the UPA government for Lokpal Bill with his descendant Arvind Kejriwal, has threatened to start agitation against the Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi.

Anna Hazare, on Wednesday, said he would start an agitation against Arvind Kejriwal government in Delhi, in the national capital itself, if finds any evidence of wrongdoing against Aam Aadmi Party ministers.

However, Anna Hazare confirmed that he does not have any doubt on Kejriwal’s character. He said, “But his reputation has been damaged because of the people he took in his party to win power. If he wishes to win over the confidence of people again, he should give up power and serve the nation again.”

Hazare added, “Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) is going to contest the Punjab elections but the voters will take into consideration the current turn of events while making the decision about whom to give their votes to.”

While adding that there was no difference between other political parties and AAP he said, “Had Kejriwal selected people of good character in his party, he would not have faced this problem.”

He concluded by saying that he hoped that something good will happen because Kejriwal has a good character.

Anna Hazare, whose workings for the society cannot be questioned, need to understand that Arvind Kejriwal has been elected by the people of Delhi and he is now entitled to serve the people throughout the period of five years. However, any wrongdoings in any political party are punishable and every Indian has right to protest against it.
